I just removed window partition on hard drive and new install of 15.04 on desktop. Tried to upgrade via sudo get update. It look like it got the data from the repository server, but did not update os. Now i am getting cant update from 15.04 to 16.04 ? Any ideas?

Ubuntu 15.04 (Vivid Vervet) was the 22nd release of Ubuntu. Support ended on February 4, 2016. See eol and http://ubottu.com/y/vivid

Best option is to clean fresh install a current release ( 16.04 if the current Long Term support ) .

all a process in learning - otherwise

That's what I thought I just did not want to loose my Rythym box music Library. Thanks Jim
