Hello,
My problem is that I can't remove the extra display screen resolution. My current screen resolution is 1680 X 1050 60hz and that works great, except when I switch the computer HDMI on my EMOTIVA AV Pre-amp it goes back to 1920 X 1080 60hz Output and at that resolution is too high as it cuts the Unity launcher and top panel screen is off. I try to set the resolution permanently but it does not work. The computer is Always on so the refresh at start up is not an option. Any suggestions?
