I bought a 16Gb USB with Ubuntu linux on it from the Linux shop and tried to install it on a Toshiba netbook NB 100 . The installer started the automatic install count down and then froze at 1 second. Repeated attempts have produced the same result. Suggestions would be welcome

Please tell us more about the USB pendrive and about the computer:

- Version of Ubuntu and whatever information there is about the pendrive, for example a link to a specification.

- We know Toshiba netbook NB 100. Please add (at least)

- CPU
- RAM (size)
- graphics chip/card
- wifi chip/card

- What operating system is there in the computer now? Does it work?

How do you intend to install Ubuntu?

Not sure what you mean by this, are you able to boot into the live desktop?

As Sudodus mentioned is this a stand alone machine with other OS on it?
