View Full Version : Problem installing K3B onto 16.10 (soon to be 17.04). Help !

**** Now solved See last two posts *****

All looks good until installing from Bash.

it says it needs cdtools to be installed but I've no idea how to do that.

any thoughts anyone?

k3b is in the repositories.
sudo apt install k3bIt may draw in a lot of dependencies though. Have you any problem installing it that way? If so, show the full output.

What seemed to work was installing Brasero Disc Burner and so far that seeemed to fix it for K3B.

I'll get back later today.

I can confirm that Brasero installation leads to allowing K3B to work just fine !
