I after installing a clean install to 16.04.2 all was well. Then I I got the message that some updates had come in after the release do I wish to install? I said yes and installed the updates.
Now whenever I BOOT the computer it starts a rapid beep and f12 appears and I have to add the boot order in. So I did another clean install and the same thing happens on boot or re-start.
How to fix? Dell optiplex computer. Now I find if I hit enter the beeping stops and it loads.
Well golleeee... after a morning of trying to solve this I noticed I had a stuck key. End of problem.
