i915 errors, before I get to installation UI

Hello all,

Trying to install 16.04 alongside XP and get the following list of errors
This all occurs after a few Ubuntu loading splash screens and loops over another screen of similar errors.:( Please see the picture

Gave up. Switched to 14. Maybe will upgrade later.

Little more information:
Video card on this PC has to DVI ports on the same card, one white, one blue.
When I booted with 14 usb live, blue dvi port showed, what appeared to be, the right hand side of a two screen display.
I say this because the main install window didn't appear, but when I Alt+Tab, I could see the window. By dragging the window from the non-existant left hand side to the right hand side, I was able to start the installation process...
