hey guys I'm pretty noobish with ubuntu, so bear with me. anyways I was looking for solutions to fix my laptop with ubuntu with no sound so I found a forum that said to use the command
sudo apt-get --purge remove linux-sound-base alsa-base alsa-utils
and then to reinstall it.
i did that, rebooted my computer and now whenever it boots up it is stuck at 5 orange dots. im unfamiliar with ubuntu recovery process since im primarily a windows user, and im not exactly sure what to do.
