Can any one please tell me how to install Ubuntu Server 16.04 or 14.04 on Apple iPad Air 2 as virtual machine using Virtual Box or VMWare or Hyper-V or any other supported virtual software's? without jailbreak.

However, you can buy a VPS for $6/month and install an ssh client on the ipad, then access it remotely using the network. If you load "server" and expect a GUI, forget it.

i don't want GUI, if its work for command line, it will be more than enough for me. i am requesting for virtual install not direct one. using virtual box or hyper V or VMWare.

You can not close it but if your issue is resolved use thread tools at the top of the page to mark it solved.
