Guys, I have had my domain [THOUGHT.ORG] for 30 years but only switch all my desktops to Ubuntu recently. I want to know which of the utilities -- or icons to click on and install -- to watch cable TV. On my fastest desktop I get a boatload of errors when I try to install Myth-TV* or whatever. I get warnings when I try to install some programs, while on another computer two KVM buttons down, different story. So far, it's been trial and error. More errors than not. I just want to know what to put after "apt install <????>" or what to click on on the red icon labeled UBUNTU SOFTWARE that runs along the left side on the screen. If there are any better programs to use rather than "apt," please clue me in!
