Dark background on K startup

Hi all,

Just have Kubuntu 16.04 installed and up running on a VM of VirtualBox.

On K startup it pop up a dark background screen (please see attached phone)

It happens after installing VirtualBox Guest Addition. It is difficult for me reading the contents there.

Please advise how to remove that dark background.
