There was a perfectly polite and reasoned conversation going on with some interesting links to background sources to why todays problems in the middle east are so intractible, but it has gone.

It was all very civillised and we were exploring the historical background to todays unfortunate circumstance rather than taking any partisan position on the current situation.

The thread was merged with a similar thread and moved to the jail by one of the staff for good reason.

I have however reviewed the posts for Galloway and I have moved those back to the Backyard and restored the thread.

Lets hope the thread stays inline with the backyard policy.
