Hi,
The setup in question is following:
kUbuntu 14.04 64bit (no ppa)
Nvidia driver 375.26 (GTX1080) out of http://ppa.launchpad.net/graphics-drivers/ppa/ubuntu
I have a peculiar problem.
When I enable desktop effects everything becomes gradually blurry, in fact the less used areas become more blurry. The change is gradual.
This is a really weird problem due to gradual change. I tried disabling all effects with compositing on, and the problem is there.
I personally don't care at all about desktop effects, except using compositing is the only way to make HTML5 videos to vsync (and not tear up).
So the choice is either very blurry fonts or badly tearing video.

Notice how even the graphics is blurry, but not the highlighted part. This blurry "effect" is dynamic. The videos are not affected.
Has anyone encountered this problem?
I am tempted to install Neon instead at this stage, but as it was with KDE 4.0 the Plasma is still raw (I use Neon on work machine).
