I am attempting to install Ubuntu on a Dell T310. I am booting from cd and install from the live boot, which works fine. I am able to select all options leading up to install but after attempting install it crashes back to live boot with the message system program problem detected. If I try to reinstall it asks if I want to remove the previous installation so it appears to have written to it however no install completes successfully and if I try to boot it locks up in POST at the point it would load the operating system. I reinstalled Windows 2008 on it and it installed with no problem. I have replaced the drive and get the same issue. I have attempted boot from USB and CD. I always come back to the same issue. Any suggestions?
