Hallo,

I upgraded from Ubuntu 12 (German version) to 14.04 LTS on my ASUS Laptop 1,8 GiB RAM, Intel Celeron CPU 1,5 GHz x2, 64 bit.

From the beginning (I purchased Ubuntu 12.04 preinstalled) I had an error message during boot "dev/mapper/cryptswap1/ is not ready or not existing". However this message disappeared without me having to interfere and the system booted.

Now after upgrading it does not any longer. The system freezes. When I shut the system down and reboot I get into the menu for extended options. Ubuntu, with Linux 3.13.0-107-generic does not boot the system. Ubuntu, with Linux 3.13.0-61-generic does.

How do I make this selection Ubuntu, with Linux 3.13.0-61-generic the permanent choice for booting?

Thanks in advance for your response. Regards, Brigitte
