Hello,
I had installed Ubuntu Server 14.04 (64 bit) with web page on joomla 1.5
I have upgraded system to 16.04 which upgraded mysql-server and php up to 7.0.
Unfortunately web site doesnt work because joomla 1.5 works up to php 5.3.
I try to install lower verions of PHP and then phpmyadmin stop working
When I try reinstall phpmyadmin I receive error
ERROR 1045 (28000): Access denied for user 'root'@'localhost' (using password: YES).
I have access to mysql-server via
mysql -u root -p
but when I try to install or reconfigure PHPMYADMIN, it can not create database an gives this error.
Whats the problem?
