After purchasing a new laptop and installing some of my favorite softwares Netbeans in particular, they look shocking, see screenshot:

My screen resolution is set to: 3840 x 2160 (16:9) and my scale for menu and title bars is: 2.12 anything less than these and apps are just un-legible i.e. they're too small. Looking on the inter webs and it seems like a lot of folk have suffered the same issues with HiDPI screen technology. As of writing today I was wondering if this is still the case? Do any of you have some insights? Or are my apps going to look like C*** just because I have hi definition screen technology?
