Hi,

Been browsing the forum (search facility says I'm forbidden?) wondered if anyone can help please?

Just trying to install pinto as per these directions:

but having this error message:

FYI - I have a SSD and a separate drive for data

So, have you run the command as suggested ?

By the way, there is no xenial repository for the pinta-maintainers ppa that you have added. You'll have to remove it.

Use the following to move the problem pinta repository files to your Documents folder, in case you want to use it later on.


sudo mv /etc/apt/sources.list.d/pinta-maintainers-ubuntu-pinta-stable-xenial* ~/Documents

Then update your sources and run the suggested command from your original error..

sudo apt update

sudo dpkg --configure -a
