Hey guys,

Just a little disclaimer:

This isn't the first time I've messed up with Linux (I'm a newb), but it's the first time I'm asking for help. Usually I'd just read enough previously mentioned issues/solutions and mess with it until I worked it out. But this time I'm dealing with a failed Linux LTS upgrade and the live web server. I would greatly appreciate a bit of personalized help if possible.

To start with, this is the current place that I'm at:


The upgrade has aborted. Your system could be in an unusable state. A
recovery will run now (dpkg --configure -a).

Please report this bug in a browser at
http://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/ubuntu-release-upgrader/+filebug
and attach the files in /var/log/dist-upgrade/ to the bug report.

Attempting to resurrect the window just repeats the problem in my first post.
