I am trying to install Ubuntu 16.04.1 with my Wi-Fi connected so that it updates everything during installation itself. But the problem is that even after connecting to Wi-Fi network, the installer is not detecting any Internet connection. To test my Wi-Fi connection, I selected the option to try Ubuntu without installing, and Internet was working perfectly fine, but when I ran the installer from the desktop shortcut in the live testing mode, it still couldn't detect internet. Firefox opened all websites at the same time but installer couldn't detect internet! Why so? Is this a bug?

The general advice is to use wired connection during install and the first couple of reboots. After that it's time for setting up wirefree.
