Im getting nuts i spent 5h today trying to solve this and i could get nothing.
This is my top menu bar, on the right side is where the clock, network, sound and other icons appear.

As you can see there is nothing there, all that stuff has gone, and i would like to have it back. Ii tried adding them with mouse right click and i get no menu to add whatsoever.
Im using ubuntu flashback (compiz).
Is there any way to solve this easier then reinstal ubuntu?
