I have a zombie icon on my Unity launcher panel. I can not seem to remove it. I have UN-installed the application several times. The icon has a message when the cursor hovers over it, "Waiting to install" I have installed and UN-installed the app many times and the zombie icon is still there. I have tried many on line solutions and none have worked.
How do I get rid of the zombie icon.
BTW it is for the application "Synapse"
