I have an issue the splash screen doesn't work when ubuntu boots, it just comes up a colored screen and than goes to the login screen. I have installed 2 different ubuntu distributions , the standard ubuntu, and than i installed ubuntu mate and they both do the same thing. But the weird thing is if i install any of the distributions in OEM mode the splash screen works fine? why does the the splash screen not work when it installed in regular install mode , but the when OEM mode is enabled the splash screen works correctly? Does anyone have a solution for this issue. I just want to be able to install it in regular mode. The computer is a first gen core i3 computer , clarkdale processor , and it Has Intel HD 1000 graphics.
