I've tried search for solutions to my problem with 16.04 Xubuntu. The issue I'm having is I used to be able to change a windows opacity using the mouse wheel in conjunction with a Alt key press. This has disappeared from Xubuntu 16.04 it seems. I'm aware of an issue that results in this behavior when "Key used to grab and move windows" is set to Alt but the issue is resolved when you change the key to something else. I have mine currently set to none but I still can't change window opacitys. Has xubuntu changed this key mouse combination? I can't find anywhere the docs say so. I'd appreciate any help with this issue folks.

Are you sure that's with xfwm or were you running compiz.
I only use xfce occasionally so don't know if that was ever possible with with xfwm.

Yeah I'm pretty sure it was always with xfwm and not compiz.

If I use xfce4-settings-editor to disable zoom_desktop,
alt+scroll on titlebar works.
