Kubuntu / Ubuntu brightness settings always need to be changed every time the system starts.
Hence I use a command ( xcalib -co 50 -a ) every time the OS starts.
I know its a contrast setting but I change it for getting a more comfortable viewing. Any way I can make it permanent?
