Question about bootable USB

Hello,

I am windows 7 user and i want to move to ubunto :D

What is the best software to create bootable usb stick?

I know Rufus, but not sure if it‘s safe tool on windows lol

any advice please?

There are some other tools too. If one doesn't work, try a different tool.

I like mkusb as it can make persistent partitions but it does not work in windows.
UNetbootin has been around for a while and gets the job done, If you simply need the USB as an installer.

I use UNetbootin (https://unetbootin.github.io/). I've made bootable thumb drives or disks of just about every distro out there and it works every time. Instructions are pretty straightforward too.

While you can use a distro in their repository, they are almost always a few releases behind, so I recommend downloading first and then using UNetbootin to make the bootable thumb drive from the ISO.
