Hi,
On a recent notebook with i7, 8G RAM, SSD256G, HD1T7200, that works fine with ubuntustudio15.10, when upgraded to 16.04 or fresh installed in uefi or bios, from cd or usb, freezes completely after entering the logon password. If the passwords is not submitted and the menu is used to shutdown, the system freezes similarily and never shuts down. Again, everything works fine with 15.10 which i reinstalled (bios mode cd) until I can find a solution.The boot-info is at http://paste2.org/eZxDhzLd.

PS: booting ubuntustudio 16.04 (live) from usb works as no password is required, but shutdown still freezes.
