Hello everyone,

As most Gmail's users know, the box's not doing so bad with the spamming issue.

We can delete them all at once or wait 30 days and it'll be done automatically for you.
My question is:

Is there a way to keep them from ending up in my mailbox again and again? Delete the same ones REALLY delete'em PERMANENTLY?

Have you tried using gmail's filters? You can filter based on various criteria and decide the fate of the filtered mails.

Filters help but there are lots of spam and it would take lots of time to apply them to each individual or bunch of spams.
Thanks for the tip; it helped out.

Make sure you actually mark spam messages as spam instead of just deleting them. That's how the spam filter learns... (I really can't remember when was the last time a spam message made it through the automatic filter. Must have been years and years ago!)
