hope this is the place to ask this
wanna get a linux phone (aus)
meizu m5pro seems good hardware but is sold out & maybe canonical will release an updated unit 2017?
Really want this so i won't have to use ios, android, windows data-mining os
Any advice on this please

Meizu releases Meizu phones.
Canonical is only software.

realize that but getting latest software on the device is important
& ubuntu seems the go with scopes etc
where are the linux based phones?
i'd buy a proven 1 in a heartbeat

Same place the Firefox phones were. Not even ready for tinkers let alone prime time release. Spend much more time there and the world will have moved on by the time they get themselves sorted out.

Window'ed Android is here / almost here. That could be the nail in the coffin for Linux convergence ever being anything more than dream to late.

Spent au$1127 on windows lumia 950xl pre-launch in australia
Was nice til i woke up 1 morn & it was/is totally unresponsive
No IP Rating
Didnt even get the joy of bricking it personally
Want Linux
