Hello,
Is that possible to configure/change default gdm font family?
I gone through google and geek forums but nothing about.


$ uname -a
Linux p55a-ud3 4.4.0-36-generic #55-Ubuntu SMP Thu Aug 11 18:01:55 UTC 2016 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux
$ lsb_release -a
No LSB modules are available.
Distributor ID: Ubuntu

$ gdm3 --version
GDM 3.18.3
$ gnome-shell --version
GNOME Shell 3.18.5

I presume you mean fonts used by the Gnome Desktop rather than the gdm log in screen.

The answer is to use Tweak Tool. You can change fonts to anything you want. Tweak Tool is in the Utilities folder in the programs list. And there are hundreds of fonts in the software repositories.
