I frequently upload photos to various sites. I've noticed since switching from windows to ubuntu the file browser in my web browser doesn't allow me to preview a thumbnail of each photo.
I can only see one preview at a time. For example here's Opera on Linux:

And here's Opera on Windows:

Notice that I can see multiple large thumbnails at once so I can more easily select which photo I want to upload from a group of photos.
Is there some way to enable this functionality on ubuntu? Maybe a different web browser or a different file manager?
