Hi,
after a fairly vanilla installation of Ubuntu 16.04.1 LTS Server AMD64 on a dell vostro 430, I am experiencing an issue with the recovery menu.
When I enter a root shell from the recovery menu it is only a matter of time, say 15 sec, before it appears to exit (also exits recovery menu?) and return to the recovery menu and freeze.
kernel release is 4.4.0-31-generic
processor is x86_64
Installation settings:
- default guided lvm setup
- added openSSH server
Used defaults for everything else.
Anyone have any ideas of how to troubleshoot this? Thanks.
