Note: I'm referring to software-center (otherwise known as Ubuntu Software) - NOT gnome-software which has its own problems...
The title says it all - I've tried removing (with -- purge) and reinstalling with no joy.
Please let me know if you have this problem - if you have a solution, great but if not I will post to Launchpad unless someone beats me to it.
