I upgraded from 14.04 to 16 overnight. When I turned on my laptop this morning, there was no GUI, just the logon prompt and message:
E: Error: BrokenCount > Orun-parts: /etc/update-motd.d/90-updates-available exited with return code 255
I can logon with my traditional userid and password and my personal data is intact, but I'm not savvy enough to know how to complete the update to get more than my laptop running from terminal.
