Upgrade

Hi

Atter upgrading to the latest version of the Desktop version,
The Gui will not start after restart of the computer!


The thing I get is the Login: prompt.


What do I do to get the Gui started?
This Upgrade was done online because
I got å Message on the screen that I should do so.

What do you get after you log in? The desktop wallpaper but without a top panel or the launcher on the left side of the screen?

Right click the wallpaper and select Change Desktop Background. That will open System Settings at the appearance utility. Now open the System Settings main window and select Software & Updates>Additional Drivers tab. You need to be connected to the internet and to allow the utility time to find the drivers. Now, change video drivers and restart. You might want to try the open source video driver.
