Downloaded it from adobe's official site. Extracted it and I get these files. Do I need to use something like sudo make?

You could install from the file that you have downloaded, but consider installing from the Software repository to ensure updates are automatically installed.

To do this, you would enable the Partners repository via the "Software & Updates" application, then install the package adobe-flashplugin

Whether Opera, Chromium or Firefox, you can install the flash player with the adobe-flashplugin package from the Ubuntu repository.
Workspaces: Add Workspace Switcher to the panel (if not there already). Then just click on which workspace to go to.

Didn't see that comment at the bottom, Ctrl + Alt + left/right arrow keys should move you around the workspaces. (You are not restricted to 2 workspaces, you can set it to more if you wanted to).

Did it. Thanks. I want two only, it's enough for me. CTRL+ALT+arrow keys do work.

Thank you too. I found the workplace switcher and added it.
