Touchpad and sound issues after updating to Ubuntu 16.04

After upgrading my Dell Vostro 3640 to Ubuntu 16.04 my touchpad got very slow and kind of 'sticky'. I have also problems with the sound (it is scattering). These problems weren't present prior to the upgrade.
