Hi: I've got two old X40s running Lubuntu 14.04 that I just upgraded to 16.04.
The first one went perfectly, the second one boots to 16.04, and works pretty well, but synaptic/updater don't seem to work, giving me this error message:
Could not install '/var/cache/apt/archives/linux-image-4.4.0-31-generic_4.4.0-31.50_i386.deb' The upgrade will continue but the '/var/cache/apt/archives/linux-image-4.4.0-31-generic_4.4.0-31.50_i386.deb' package may not be in a working state. Please consider submitting a bug report about it.
When I run synaptic, I get two broken packages that don't fix, linux-image-generic 4.4.0.31-33 and linux-image-extra 4.4.0-13.50. I've tried running sudo apt-get install-f, same result.
Any ideas? Bill
