Installation Issues

I'm going back to using Ubuntu on a Compaq Presario V2000 Laptop, but while I'm installing it, the software somehow pauses showing the Ubuntu logo with some blurriness and doesn't complete the process while the computer meets the requirements. Has anyone have a solution, while it's still a good working computer?

Connect your laptop to the internet using LAN ( that means to plug in the LAN-cable from your router ) and try again, maybe it helps.
