I installed lubuntu 16.04 and it installed but when it reboots it seems to get stuck in infinite loops at different places.
I put up two screen shots (732K for both):

If I try to switch to the console with alt-F1, it switches back to the main screen.
It is doing something but I left it for an hour which is why I think it is stuck in a loop.
