View Full Version : [ubuntu] Upgrading to 16.04 from 14.04

In help.ubuntu.com/community/XenialUpgrades it states that it is possible to upgrade from 14.04 directly to 16.04.
However, in my case, after running Software Updater and getting the 'Up to Date' indication, the available software offered for upgrading is 15.04.
Does this mean that I have to upgrade to 15.04 and then immediately upgrade to 16.04?

Set the Software and Updates application to notify only for LTS releases.

I believe the upgrade to 16.04.1 will be offered during the early part of next week, the release team need some more time to check up on a few bugs.
