The distribution upgrade to 16.04 has stopped for days now

A specific package seems to be the source of trouble..

If anyone has any ideas I can try I would really appreciate it.
I have zero knowledge when it comes to computers and ubuntu.

Ok, I did both.
As I said I don't know how things work.
I was hoping that a few command lines on the terminal could do the trick.

I'll reinstall my current distribution or 16.04 LTS version. Thanks for the reply!
