I know this is probably a very common problem, but I am tyring to dual boot and using a USB to do so. I read the "black screen" posts and I can't find any commonality because I can't use a keyboard! Any thoughts?

I had that same problem, but solved it by going into my motherboard's BIOS and selecting the correct video card as primary.
It makes no sense, and one would think that this would be automatic, but for some reason you have to select whether your dedicated or integrated video card is primary. If anyone has any input on why this is then please chime in.
