View Full Version : [SOLVED] Evolution "mail received" sound

I'm running a couple of different systems, one based on Ubuntu Precise uses Evolution 3.2.3. When mail comes in, I get an audible notification. On my newer system, running a distribution based on Ubuntu Xenial, the installed version of Evolution is 3.18.5.2 and I get no audible notification when mail is received. I'd like to turn this feature on in the newer system. How can this be done?

I'ts all done with evolution-plugins.

Have you gone through the configuration of the plugin ?

Edit > Plugins > Configuration.

Yes. As I note above, I solved the problem myself. The Evolution plugins weren't loaded.
