I am happy with " open in terminal " which comes default in Unity for 16.04 ( Unity 7 ? ). I had this feature in Cinnamon since some time. It was actually for " Open in Terminal " and " Open as root " options I used Cinnamon DE mainly. Just wondering when " Open as root " will land on Unity in 16.04 ? Does Unity 8 has this option ? If yes, possible to update Unity to Unity 8 in 16.04 ? Thanks.

Open as Administrator is available for 'Nautilus'Not by default, from what I recall. I believe you first have to:
sudo apt install nautilus-admin
