Hello,

I was trying to launch a game via mupen64plus but it crashes:

I tried a few things before getting it work in a window within m64py. The problem is that it does not work with the Settings->Graphics->Video Extension disabled, meaning full screen is not possible.

How can I run in full screen and from the terminal?

Move to Emulators

You might try changing video plugins.
Glide64 works for me for full screen.

In the mupen64plus.cfg file in the section marked
[UI-console]
simply change the Video-Plugin =
from mupen64plus-video-rice
to mupen64plus-video-glide64

See if that makes any difference.

Also see how well it performs.

I find changing plugins to be rather hit or miss.

If it misses then simply change it back to the rice plugin.

Or maybe see about any others.
Available plugins are stored in /use/lib/x86_64-gnu-linux/mupen64plus
simply use the name without the.so extension.

I'm not sure how well it'll work.
But hope it does

I had success with glide64mk2!

I was trying glide64mk which didn't work.

Thanks for the quick response!
