I got the disk to finnaly attempt to do an install after I disabled Secure Boot and edited the line to delete quiet splash. It then ran until it got to this line [ 12.891791] wmi: Mapper loaded. IT then just sat and I turned it off after waiting about 20 minutes for it to move on. I spent about 4 hours trying to even get to there. Needless to say I am getting frustrated here.
The Windows OS is an upgrade from Win 8.1 which was only slightly more frustrating than 10 is.

Have you turned off fast start up in Windows & fast boot in UEFI?

Shows install with screen shots. Both BIOS purple accessibility screen & UEFI black grub menu screen

Also shows Windows 8 screens or similar to Windows 10

Possibly similar system, but older version of Ubuntu?

Thank you for the response. I couldn't get on yesterday to let you know, but I am up and running. Ended up wiping out my Win 10 installation, but not really crying about that. I am not sure exactly what got me running, but it was something along the lines of where you were leading me.
