Hello guys,
Me and my team are creating a new 2d fantasy game called DagAdventures (http://www.dagadventures.com).

We're planning to go on kickstarter in a few months and we thought to support Linux as another platform. We wanted to get in touch with te community before to invest time and money on porting of the game.
Se any advice and feedback is welcome.
We didn't have any past experience with the porting of a game for linux, so any advice is welcome.

The game is in pre alpha and we'll present worldwide the 21 of September along with the game trailer. But on the game site you can find plenty of images and in game materials.

If you wish to follow us, here our communities:

Website (http://www.dagadventures.com)

Thanks for your support.

Hope to see all of you play our game soon.

Hi,

All the best with your game. A playable demo is always welcome. (And if your game is good people will buy and play it, no matter the platform). But do your self a favour and check out the sales for Humble Bundles and see that on average people using Linux are willing to pay more for games than Windows.

Thanks for the reply, we're looking to find some data about the sales released to linux on steam. we're very curios to know how big the market is.

Still less than 2% for Linux on Steam the last time I saw an article. But with more cool software and games being available adoption will continue to grow ;)
