I recently installed ubuntu 16.04 on my dv2000 and am having some issues.
#1 sometimes the screen would break up into lines or turn yellow in blocks, mostly when selecting the "search this computer box". Now it is switching to a total black screen after the log in. I can access terminal and type reboot to verify it is working but cant see anything.
#2 The lightscribe dvd-rw is not recognized at all.
I really would hate to go back to windows because what I've seen on ubuntu looks so much nicer than windows, I just want it to work properly.
I appreciate any advice!
