Hi,

I just bought an Asus laptop with Windows 10 installed. I want to install Ubuntu on an isolated partition. I want to have the choice of being able to uninstall Ubuntu or completely format the partition without it affecting the windows partition. It was easy to do with Windows 7 but W10 uses UEFI which makes things much harder. Any suggestions?

thanks.

Ubuntu in UEFI will not interfere with Windows Boot files. Ubuntu creates its own separate folder for its boot files.
