Problem booting from live USB [Archive]

I'm trying to install Ubuntu 16.04 64bit server from usb and i'm having the same problem error gfxboot when it gets to the boot prompt I press tab to get to the menu list but nothing works install , or help . For a test i booted Ubuntu 16.04 desktop 64bit and came to the boot and help worked it installed the desktop but i need the server. I installed debian server for now but would like Ubuntu server .

I think you use the Startup Disk Creator in an old version of Ubuntu (not 16.04 LTS).

Use another tool to copy/clone/flash/install from the iso file to the USB pendrive, for example mkusb according to this link, or mkusb-nox, if you are running in text mode, which is standard for linux servers.

OK, this is very strange I don't have any windows OS computers, all 6 computers have Ubuntu. I ordered a Citrix branded Supermicro PDSBM+2 from ebay my goal is trying to install Ubuntu 16.04 server 64bit. So I download windows 10 installed everything works than installed http://www.linuxliveusb.com/ down loaded ubuntu 16.04 server 64bit iso ran the program to boot from usb. I booted and I got gfxboot error but this time I got passed the menu to the install oh goodie but now my intel network ports could not see the network

If I understand correctly, your system works but you get stuck at the networking. Are you trying to connect via wired internet (ethernet)?

I will suggest to the moderators to move your thread to the network forum, where I think you have better chances to get relevant advice.
